Create A Personalized Child Book Heirloom

By Mike Dougherty Platinum Quality Author

Children love having stories read to them and even very young children really enjoy having someone read them a favorite story.

And reading stories and books to children is a very rewarding activity.

Kids become fascinated with the story, the characters and the way the story is read to them.

As a parent and a grandparent, I have found that acting out the story by changing my voice and expressions really gets the kids interested, keeps their attention and makes story time lots of fun for them and for me.

Personalized Child Book

A personalized child book makes the experience even more fun by including your child in the story. Your child's name is repeated throughout the book, so every time you read the story they get to hear their name right along with the other characters in the story book.

Of course this gives the reader a wonderful opportunity to emphasize the child's name and have even more fun with it while you're reading the story to them.

Your child's personalized story book becomes precious to them and something they will always remember.

When Your Child Gets Older

They grow up so fast and being able to look back at fond memories means a lot to children (and parents too).

That's why we all keep things like our child's first doll or their first toy car. Then, when your child gets older and even as a teenager or adult, they enjoy looking back at those pleasant memories.

And how many times have we all wondered why we didn't keep something we had as children so we could enjoy those fond memories from time to time.

Personalized Child Book Heirloom

You can easily create a personalized child book heirloom by following these easy steps.

  • Pick up a personalized child book with your child's name throughout the story
  • On the book's inside cover, write the date your child's personalized book was first presented to them
  • Take a photograph of your child reading their book (be sure you can see the book's front cover)then mount the picture inside the front or back cover of the book
  • Have someone take a picture of you and your child while you're reading the book to your child. Then mount that picture on the inside cover
  • Now you've created something that is very precious.

When your child grows out of the book, place the book inside a container and store the book in a safe place.

    Years From Now

If taken care of properly, your personalized child book is sure to become a family treasure and a precious heirloom that will be enjoyed for years to come and beyond that by generations yet to come.

Creating a personalized child book heirloom is a very easy and fun project and one that will bring you much happiness throughout the years.

You'll enjoy the precious memories and years from now, your child will really love being able to actually hold that very special and precious book again and look at those wonderful pictures from long ago.

And of course your child will love seeing their name in the story once again.
